- Channing Memorial Church Social Action Committee
- We are the Social Action Committee of Channing Memorial Church, a Unitarian Universalist congregation located across from the Olde Stone Mill on Historic Hill in Newport, Rhode Island. While there has been a Unitarian Congregation in Newport since 1835, this church was dedicated in 1881 as a memorial to the Rev. Dr. William Ellery Channing, the philosophical founder of American Unitarianism and a great advocate for social justice.
